About Our Products

Mudora creates handcrafted terracotta tiles made by skilled artisans. Each tile is individually crafted, resulting in a product that carries its own unique character and authenticity.

Unlike mass-produced materials, handcrafted terracotta naturally exhibits subtle variations that contribute to its beauty, warmth, and artisanal appeal. These qualities are an integral part of the product and are celebrated as part of the design rather than viewed as imperfections.

 

Product Images & Samples

We make every effort to accurately represent our products through photographs, samples, and digital displays. However, colors may vary slightly due to natural variations in handcrafted production, lighting conditions, user screen and device settings, batch-to-batch difference. Actual products in hand may differ slightly from website images or previous orders.

 

Recommended Applications

Mudora Tiles are primarily designed and manufactured for interior wall applications.

They perform well in interior spaces with mild exposure to sunlight and humidity when installed and maintained according to Mudora Tiles application guidelines.

Mudora Tiles are not recommended for:

• Bathrooms and shower areas
• Constantly wet environments
• Areas affected by active water seepage or dampness
• Exterior applications, unless specifically approved in writing by Mudora
• Flooring applications of any kind

Mudora currently manufactures decorative interior wall tiles only. Our wall tiles are not designed, tested, or intended for use as floor tiles and should never be installed on floors, staircases, pathways, or other load-bearing surfaces.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected product is suitable for the intended application, environmental conditions, and installation location.

The suitability of the installation location remains the responsibility of the customer, architect, interior designer, contractor, installer, or project consultant.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for product performance issues, damage, failures, or aesthetic concerns arising from installation in unsuitable environments or applications that fall outside our recommended usage guidelines.

 

Natural Characteristics & Product Variation

Terracotta is a natural material, and each Mudora Tile is handcrafted and finished through an artisanal process.

As a result, variations may occur in:

• Color and shade
• Surface texture
• Finish and pattern placement
• Tile dimensions and thickness
• Minor pinholes and surface irregularities
• Batch-to-batch appearance

While we strive for consistency across every order, no two tiles, batches, or production runs will be exactly identical. These natural variations are not defects. Rather, they are inherent characteristics of handcrafted terracotta and contribute to the depth, richness, and authenticity of the final installation.

Customers are encouraged to review product images, samples, specifications, and installation guidelines before placing an order.

 

Ordering Quantities

Minimum order quantity per design is 100 tiles (approximately 100 sq. ft.).

We strongly recommend purchasing an additional 10% to 15% material beyond the measured requirement. This allows for, Cutting losses, Installation wastage, Site breakage.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd cannot guarantee an exact color, texture, or size match for future orders placed separately from the original purchase. Additional orders may vary due to natural batch-to-batch differences.

 

Delivery & Lead Time

Most orders are dispatched within 15 days from order confirmation. Based on the quantities, we will confirm the timelines by email. Since the production is custom made to order, the timelines are like this.

Depending on production schedules, some orders may be delivered earlier.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may occasionally be affected by factors beyond our control, including, artisan production schedules, weather conditions, transportation delays, public holidays, force majeure events

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for losses resulting from delivery delays.

 

Storage at Site

Proper storage is essential to maintain product quality before installation.

Tiles should be:

• Stored indoors whenever possible

• Kept in a clean, dry location

• Protected from rain and moisture

• Protected from direct sunlight

• Kept away from construction debris, cement, chemicals, and dust

• Stored on flat and stable surfaces

Improper storage may affect product performance and appearance.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd is not responsible for issues arising from improper storage conditions after delivery.

 

Installation Requirements

Mudora tiles should be installed strictly according to our installation guidelines.

We strongly recommend:

• Installation by experienced professionals

• Reviewing all tiles before installation

• Dry-laying tiles prior to installation to achieve the desired distribution of colors and patterns

For optimal adhesion, we recommend using:

Laticrete 315 Adhesive with Laticrete 73 Crete Admix rather than traditional cement-based fixing methods.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd shall not be responsible for issues arising from improper installation methods or the use of unapproved materials.

 

Maintenance & Care

Mudora Tiles require minimal maintenance. Recommended care includes regular dusting with a dry cloth and occasional cleaning with a mildly damp cloth.

Please avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, abrasive cleaning products, strong detergents, high-pressure washing. Improper cleaning or maintenance may damage the product.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd is not responsible for damage resulting from maintenance practices that do not follow our Care & Maintenance Guidelines.

 

Waterproofing & Moisture Considerations

Mudora tiles are specially treated to improve durability and reduce moisture-related concerns commonly associated with traditional terracotta, including efflorescence and surface degradation.

When installed on dry, properly prepared walls that are free from seepage, water leakage, dampness, or structural moisture issues, customers should not experience problems related to normal interior humidity conditions.

However, Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd cannot be held responsible for damage, staining, discoloration, or performance issues resulting from:

• Structural moisture issues • Water leakage • Rising dampness • Improper site conditions • Wall seepage

Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation surfaces are dry, stable, and suitable prior to installation.

 

Acceptance of Product Variation

By placing an order with Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd, customers acknowledge and accept the inherent characteristics of handcrafted terracotta products, including reasonable variations in color, shade, texture, dimensions, surface finish, pattern placement, and minor pinholes.

Such variations are considered part of the product’s natural and artisanal character and shall not constitute grounds for rejection, return, replacement, or refund.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handcrafted and made-to-order nature of our products, orders cannot generally be returned or exchanged once production has begun.

Returns may only be considered in cases where the product supplied is materially different from the approved order.

Natural variations in color, texture, size, pinholes, and finish are not considered defects and do not qualify for return or replacement.

 

Limitation of Liability

Mudora’s responsibility is limited to the replacement or refund of products determined by us to be defective.

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Installation costs
• Labour charges
• Project delays
• Consequential damages
• Losses resulting from improper handling, storage, installation, or maintenance

 

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, designs, text, logos, graphics, interactive design tools and product photography, is the property of Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

 

Privacy

Any information shared with Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or share customer information for marketing purposes.

 

Changes to Terms

Mudora Tiles Pvt Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page.
